Love In Action

Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh believed that perpetuating violence and war will never truly end suffering; it will only cause more generational trauma. The sole path to meaningful social transformation is rooted in peace and nonviolence, and this was the foundation of his teachings. Love in Action brings together over two decades of Thich Nhat Hanh’s profound, compassionate, and lucid writings on the deep connection between peace within ourselves and peace in the world. Drawing insights from the harsh realities of humanitarian conflict, he shows how the healing process cannot arise in isolation from social change and that the right mindfulness and altruistic love will empower us to resolve the battles both within ourselves and in the environment around us.
